My Client, a market leading Energy and Sustainability Consultancy, is searching for an Energy Assessor to join their team in Manchester. This exciting role offers hybrid working and varied mixed-use development projects for a variety of clients across you UK. You will specialise in OCDEAs, SAP assessments and Energy Statements. Candidates are required to have a strong academic background, ideally in Sustainability or Building Services and experience working for a UK based Consultancy as an Energy Assessor. You are required to hold a recognised OCDEA qualification including a Level 3, 4 or 5 Diploma in experience completing SAP assessments for new-build domestic properties. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing overheating assessments (TM59) and/or Energy Modelling (IES). As an Energy Assessor (OCDEA) you will join a friendly team based in Manchester to complete Energy Statements, overheating assessments and SAP Assessments for new build domestic properties. As an Energy Assessor (OCDEA) you will complete; -OCDEAs. -SAP assessments for new-build domestic properties. -Energy Statements. -Energy Performance Certificate Produce EPCs and reports in line with Part L Building Regulations. -Energy Modelling, using the approved SBEM software to calculate predicted CO₂ emissions and assess the building’s compliance with Part L requirements. -Overheating Assessments. – Provide energy efficiency advice to architects, developers, and builders during the design stage. -Providing feedback and recommendations to clients to optimise energy performance and compliance, prior to construction.
