Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Accounts Assistant for a Freight Forwarder. The role will be working in a small busy Accounts department. The role is based in the Thorpe, Surrey area. Key Responsibilities:- Processing day-to-day transactions. Customer Accounts reconciliations. Credit Control – reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment. Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required. Supplier Accounts reconciliations. Process supplier payments and any refunds. VAT Returns Inputting company expenses Skills required:- Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control Attention to detail General maths skills Full Accounting skills Experience in accounting software Time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines Confidentiality and trustworthiness Data entry management Excellent communication skills Freight experience preferred Working Hours are 9am-5:30pm (May consider reduced hours) As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight recruitment specialist.
