This role focuses on accuracy of stock information in the system and is crucial to support the work of the Stock Control Manager. The role requires a high level of system knowledge and good time management skills to ensure deadlines are hit. This role requires a level of autonomy to work at a consistent level with good attention to detail.Key Responsibilities of the Stock Controller (including but not limited to):Working with the Stock Control Manager, to manage the physical stocks in the business, by proactively identifying issues and opportunities to improve the overall stock availabilityManage the Seasonal allocations (reservations) process to ensure stock is aligned against all forward orders prior to delivery of goods to the distribution centers and ensure reservations are regularly reviewed to ensure any changes or amendments are captured and re-reserved. Ensure this process is in line with the seasonal buying calendar and timelines are agreed with Buying for each season.Oversee the management of the SMS order process, ensuring engagement with all stakeholders. Ensuring the timely delivery to all customers from factory and Distribution Centres.Manages the completion of sleeping reservations and FTS information, ensuring FTS in all locations, issuing a weekly dashboard on availability current and future.Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to continually manage changes in the orderbook and demand and make corrective actions where necessary.Responsible for the monthly transfer programme.
