My client is a leading subcontractor on this landmark scheme, and we\βre looking for a top-tier professional to join the team. What You\βll Be Doing This isn\βt just about managing a site; it\βs about leading a team to deliver complex and challenging engineering solutions. As our Site Agent, you\βll be responsible for: Project Delivery: Overseeing all aspects of site operations, including the construction of intricate reinforced concrete structures like bridge abutments, viaduct decks, and complex foundations. You\βll ensure these works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, all while maintaining the highest quality standards. Safety & Compliance: Championing a culture of safety. You\βll be the person on the ground ensuring that all activities, from large-scale excavations to critical lifting operations, adhere to rigorous health, safety, and environmental regulations. To succeed in this role, you must have: A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Significant experience as a Site Agent on large-scale heavy civils projects. Demonstrable expertise in the construction of RC structures. The ability to manage complex logistics, plan work meticulously, and lead a diverse team. Desirable Skills & Qualifications While not essential, candidates who hold the following certifications will be at a distinct advantage: Lifting Appointed Person (Lifting AP): This qualification is a huge plus, as it demonstrates your ability to safely plan and oversee all lifting operations on site. Your knowledge will be crucial for managing the use of cranes and other heavy machinery to move large pre-cast concrete elements and steel reinforcement. Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC): Given the dynamic nature of temporary structures on a project of this scale, your expertise as a TWC will be invaluable.
