You will be working within supportive and dynamic residential parenting assessment unit and form part of a multi disciplinary team. In this position, you will work with up to 5 families at a time, assessing and supporting parents in caring for their children. You will be undertaking parenting assessments. Placements typically last 12 weeks and include comprehensive teaching and assessment programs. Some community work may also be involved. You will play a part in the on-call rota, on rotation with other members of the MDT every 6/7 weeks.

Qualified Social Worker status and registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register)

Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in Children’s Services, including parenting assessments.

CUBAS training is desirable but not essential.
