Ridgeway & Co are working with an established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial developments, they are currently seeking an experiencedSenior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new mixed-use scheme in Barnet.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor on a high-profile project combining residential units with commercial space. You ll take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring programme, quality, and safety objectives are met while working closely with the project and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site activities from groundworks through to completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour on-site
  • Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and company procedures
  • Maintain quality control throughout all stages of the build
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Chair progress meetings and liaise with internal departments and external consultants
  • Monitor programme and drive productivity to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on mixed-use or residential schemes
  • Strong technical knowledge across RC frame, fit-out, and infrastructure elements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black or White Card)
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to site management and issue resolution
