I am seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client as a Field-Based Engineer in Cambridge, where you will be servicing and installing fire alarms and CCTV equipment. This is a field-based position where the majority of work will be carried out in Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and North London.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Happy to be field based where you are always on the move
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience in Fire & Security system installations (e.g., intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms) or transferable skills from roles such as Gate Automation Engineer or Electrician.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain Fire & Security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire alarms.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of work.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of systems where required.
  • Collaborate with a knowledgeable team to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Working hours:

  • 40 hour weeks
  • Monday to Friday but there will be weekend work involved which you will receive additional pay for
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of £34, – £40,, with an OTE between £43, and £45,.
