I am seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field-Based Engineer for our client based Cambridge. This is a field-based position where the majority of work will be carried out in Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and North London. Requirements: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Happy to be field based where you are always on the move A full, clean UK driving license. Comfortable working at heights ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential). Proven experience in Fire & Security system installations (e.g., intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms) or transferable skills from roles such as Gate Automation Engineer or Electrician.Responsibilities: Install and maintain Fire & Security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire alarms. Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of work. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of systems where required. Collaborate with a knowledgeable team to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.Working hours: 40 hour weeks Monday to Friday but there will be weekend work involved which you will receive additional pay forBenefits: Competitive base salary of £34,000 – £40,000, with an OTE between £43,000 and £45,000. 6-monthly bonus scheme based on performance.
