Overview
QA Engineer role at DMG Delta. Join our distributed development team to deliver new features, functionality and maintenance for our enterprise-level WordPress. You will ensure ongoing quality of builds and releases using manual and automated testing, contributing to the stability, reliability, accessibility and quality of our brands.
Location: DMG Headquarters – London; Hybrid in HSK, London.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out functional, integration, and end-to-end testing of desktop, mobile, and tablet applications.
- Raise defects using JIRA as the defect-tracking tool.
- Design test scripts, plans, scenarios and procedures.
- Execute manual integration, regression, browser compatibility, and SEO tests.
- Execute ad-hoc functional testing on request.
- Analyse test results and report to the development team.
- Work with the development team to correct bugs and errors.
Person Specification
- 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer or similar role.
- Experience in manual and exploratory testing in a web application context.
- Experience in automation testing, preferably with Playwright.
- Keen learner actively following new testing trends.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of web principles; experience with Git, HTML and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication skills for a remote role within a distributed development team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of using Chrome DevTools to debug front-end issues.
- Be a strong problem-solver.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with enterprise-level WordPress applications.
- Experience with Piano.io.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic and Kibana.
- Willingness to travel to London, if viable for team meet-ups at the office.
