Overview Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Computing to join our growing academic team. Role: Lecturer (Computing)
Location: Central London and Southall Campuses
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Start Date: 7th April 2026

The Role As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of computing modules. You\’ll support students on campus, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement. You will deliver and support modules in the Computing related disciplines, some of which are as follows:
Advanced Programming in C#
Data Structures and Algorithms in Java
Databases using SQL
Advanced Databases and Big Data using Python
Web Design Programming using ASP .Net Core
Cloud Computing
Applied Machine Learning using Python
Key Responsibilities Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable
What We’re Looking For Essential A Master\’s degree in a relevant computing-related field
Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held)
Desirable PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
Research or enterprise activity involvement
Teaching qualification
Experience leading modules or academic teams
