Digital Services, Sales Specialist – Mobility Aftermarket Division

The job holder will be expected to contribute significantly to the overall delivery of Bosch’s Independent Automotive Aftermarket (IAM) businesses in total. Specifically, the DSSS is expected to lead the sales growth of new digital solutions & services collaborating closely with target customers. You will also work with colleagues throughout the division to strengthen the overall understanding of these new products and how they will help to deliver Bosch’s go-to-market strategy.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Technical Services & relevant Business Units to clearly define which digital solutions & services are market ready & relevant for UK & Irish customers.
- Develop detailed sales activity plans & targets for each of the key digital solutions & services in Bosch’s IAM portfolio, specifically: –
- Remote Diagnostics (Re-Di)
- Workshop Management Systems (Product name: KiS)
- Connected Repair (Co-Re)
- Workshop Order Manager (WOM)
- Service Contracts (Maintenance, Calibration, Extended Warranty, etc)
- Bosch Loyalty Scheme (eXtra)
- Create Customer Acquisition Projects (CAP’s) for target customers and sales channels together with colleagues in the Bosch sales & marketing teams.
- Develop a set of KPI’s and tracking tools with the internal divisional data team to monitor the New Product Introduction (NPI), sales performance (both direct and indirect) and market growth / penetration.
- Develop and design NPI strategies & processes to ensure the professional and efficient roll-out of new services, ensuring optimal customer experience & engagement, working with divisional colleagues & external suppliers / partners.
Targets / KPI’s:
The job holder will be responsible for achieving the agreed annual targets:
- Individual sales target for digital solutions & new services
- Contribute to the overall Bosch IAM sales, profit & market share targets.
- Work within agreed cost and market budgets to deliver the above
- Market penetration targets for agreed solutions & services
Preferred experience & knowledge of the following concepts / areas:
- Cloud computing
- Digital / online services
- Application Programming Interfaces (API)
- Internet and Communication Protocols
- IAM sales channels & major market players
