Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Site Logistics Manager to support our Market Drayton (TF9 3UY) and Yew Tree sites on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Site Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for creating and embedding a culture that enables our people to meet targets while continuously improving business performance.
Your Challenge as Site Logistics Manager
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining a high-performing team, embedding PMS (Performance Management System) principles
- Driving a best-in-class service model by reviewing, understanding, and addressing adverse impacts on customer service
- Preparing the annual budget following GO principles, monitoring deviations, and investigating significant variances
- Sponsoring Operational Excellence principles in all activities
- Collaborating with other functions to improve business processes and embed best practices
Site Logistics Manager Key Tasks
- Leading the Logistics function and Management Team across both sites
- Building and implementing the site business and strategy plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Encouraging the site team to pursue operational excellence opportunities, focusing on value, customer service, and best practices
- Developing team members through PDPs and promoting self-development
- Embedding a Health and Safety culture across all levels
- Implementing industry best practices and external revenue growth initiatives related to fleet and labor utilization
