Salary – Competitive dependant on experience
Hours – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working & agile working policy

About the Technical Analyst/ Senior Technical Analyst role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst/ Senior Technical Analyst in our Northampton office.
In this role you will be gathering technical information, building strong client relationships and writing technical reports. You must have good communication skills and the ability to form cogent written arguments and write clearly about complicated projects. We can offer professional development on other tax reliefs, such as patent box & video game tax relief.
Key responsibilities of a Technical Analyst/ Senior Technical Analyst will include:
- Keeping up to date with changes to the legislation
- Managing client calls to gather technical information
- Building relationships with clients
- Explaining the Relief to non-experts
- Writing technical reports using clear and concise language
About you –
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years\’ experience in a similar background
- Knowledge of the R&D BEIS Guidelines
- Experience with enquiry defence would be advantageous
- Good time management
- Good communication skills
- Ability to from cogent written arguments and write clearly about complicated technical projects
- Experience in the financial calculations of R&D relief would be advantageous but not required
