Title: Estimator – Carpentry Location: Bristol (North East) Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 + car allownace + benefits Sector: Specialist Carpentry contractor, New build Start Date: ASAP Estimator – The Role: Our client is a highly successful and fast growing specialist contractor with an established reputation across the South West market and beyond. Typical projects are for Tier 1 main contractors on large scale rooding packages as part of major new build developements. Projects vary from £100k – £6.5m+. Typical Duties & Responsabilities: * Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work. * Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. * Responsable for take off's and measuring * Collaborate with project managers and Directors to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimation process. * Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather relevant data for accurate estimations. * Maintain a database of past projects and their costs for reference in future estimates. * Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to cost control measures. * Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards. * Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding estimates and any potential changes.
