We are partnering with a highly respected, forward-thinking financial planning and investment business to recruit a talented Paraplanner. This is an exciting opportunity to take a client-facing role where you’ll be at the heart of the advice process, working closely with experienced financial planners to deliver exceptional service to a varied portfolio of clients.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will:
- Play an active part in analysing client needs and identifying planning opportunities.
- Prepare for and attend a high number of client meetings, taking detailed notes and managing follow-up actions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted secondary point of contact.
- Research and recommend solutions, preparing clear, compliant suitability letters.
- Produce reports across multiple advice areas, including pensions, investments, retirement income planning, inheritance tax, and alternative investments such as VCTs and EISs.
- Collaborate with administration and planning teams to ensure advice is implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Support business development by contributing ideas to improve processes and client service.
About You
You will have:
- A strong understanding of financial planning and investment products.
- Experience in a paraplanning or associate planning role with regular client interaction.
- The ability to articulate complex advice clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (Xplan, Voyant, FE Analytics) and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
