We are looking for a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team, specialising in small tool calibration within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of hand tools, torque wrenches, gauges, and electronic measuring devices used in automotive manufacturing and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: * Perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of small tools and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 17025, UKAS, etc.). * Diagnose and troubleshoot calibration issues and implement corrective actions. * Maintain accurate calibration records and certification documentation. * Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure tools and equipment meet required specifications. * Assist in developing and improving calibration procedures and methodologies. * Work closely with other departments, and maintenance teams to resolve measurement and accuracy issues. * Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality assurance standards. Requirements & Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Calibration Engineer / Technician, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector. * Strong knowledge of measurement and calibration techniques for small tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, gauges, and electronic measuring devices. * Familiarity with UKAS standards, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and other relevant industry regulations. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Good IT skills, including experience with calibration management software. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
