MBR Partners is a niche recruitment business supplying candidates worldwide to fast-growing technology companies across sectors such as Telecoms, Security, Broadcast Media, Customer Experience / Marketing, Fintech, and more. We focus on recruiting permanent staff. Previous recruitment experience is not required.

Position: Business Development Representative

Location: Paddington office, 5 days a week (when not traveling)

Your Responsibilities as a Business Development Representative:

  1. Execute outbound sales & marketing campaigns, including cold calling prospective clients (CEOs, CROs, CHROs, Sales Engineering Leaders).
  2. Travel to events and conferences worldwide, representing MBR Partners at booths and engaging in face-to-face marketing and sales activities.
  3. Arrange meetings for the CEO, either virtually or in person.
  4. Develop personalized verbal pitches tailored to different targets.
  5. Follow a sales process involving LinkedIn connection requests, email, SMS messaging, and proactive calls.
  6. Maintain a sales pipeline by staying highly organized and persistent.
  7. Research potential customers using available resources.
  8. Identify prospects and market trends through outbound techniques.
  9. Assist in defining and improving business development processes.
  10. Create, update, and nurture leads in the CRM system.

Your Requirements as a Business Development Representative:

  1. Bachelor\’s degree, minimum 2:1 from a reputable university.
  2. Strong English language skills.
  3. Experience in telephone sales or telemarketing is preferred.
  4. Passion for technology.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Result-oriented with a drive to exceed targets.
  7. Persistence and perseverance.
  8. Customer service orientation.
  9. Motivation for sales, with a commission/sales incentive program. Note: this role focuses on closing and developing new leads; recruitment delivery is handled by another team.
