As a Class 1 Relief Tramper driver, you will be responsible for executing critical logistics operations for DPD. Execute bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods. ● Operate modern fleet vehicles on agreed shift patterns, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and regulations. ● Deliver palette loads to HGV-friendly locations, maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency. ● Commit to a minimum of four nights per week away from base, demonstrating dedication to the role and flexibility in work arrangements. ● Utilize secure DPD locations for overnight stays in the vehicle, ensuring the safety of both the driver and the cargo. ● Cover a designated region surrounding the base depot, developing comprehensive knowledge of the area to optimize route planning and delivery efficiency. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and procedures. Possession of a valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence is imperative for this role. ● A minimum of 12 months verifiable Class 1 driving experience is mandatory. ● Possession of a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card is essential for legal compliance.
