Applications are invited from experienced Cardiac Physiologists to join our client\’s Cardiology team at their acute hospital site located in Kingston upon Thames, near Wimbledon and Richmond Park.

This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours/3 days, with potential flexibility for full-time hours. The salary is £56,000 FTE, pro-rata to £33,600 for 22.5 hours (£28.73/hr).

The Cardiac Service is Consultant-led and supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialised Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Radiographers. They provide rapid diagnosis and comprehensive investigations, including:

  • Cardiac Screening package
  • Adult Transthoracic Echocardiograms
  • Stress Echocardiogram
  • 12 lead resting ECG with interpretation
  • 24-hour ECG recorders
  • 48-hour ECG recorders
  • 7-14 day continuous ECG monitoring
  • 24-hour blood pressure monitors
  • Exercise Treadmill Tests
  • CT Calcium Scoring
  • CT Coronary Angiogram (non-invasive)
  • Cardiac MRI (functional)

The hospital is easily accessible via TfL, National Rail, and local bus networks. It is a leading UK provider of independent healthcare, collaborating with eminent medical consultants and healthcare specialists. Established in 1898, it delivers exceptional surgical and orthopaedic care supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. Facilities include private GP services, physiotherapy, 15 consulting rooms, a Cardiac Diagnostic Facility, 6 treatment and diagnostic rooms, a dedicated 14-bed Day Surgery unit, 19 private inpatient rooms, 3 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy theatre, imaging services (X-Ray, CT, MRI), and an on-site pharmacy.

Person requirements:

  • UK registered Cardiac Physiologist
  • Minimum of five years post-registration experience, including ECG, Echocardiography, Holters – ECG and BP
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship required)
