Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and organised Cover Supervisor to support the learning and well-being of children aged 11-16 years old. This role involves registering and holding a classroom, ensuring that the set cover work by the school is completed to the best of the students\’ abilities while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This role can be extremely rewarding, as a relationship is established between the students, the school, and the cover supervisor, which can often lead to a long-term opportunity. You Will: Be on time for lessons and adapt to what the school asks of you Complete a class register at the start of each lesson Deliver the learning activities and work given by the school to the classes Support students with varying capabilities Assist in the evaluation of the students\’ and class\’s progress while feeding this back to the school The Ideal Candidate: Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting) Be able to lead a group confidently Understand safeguarding practices. Be capable of clear communication and have strong organisational skills. Present as calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.
