GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a confident and skilled HLTA to join a reputable school in Grimsby. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in pupil progress and classroom support. Role Overview: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across various year groups, plan and deliver small group interventions, and occasionally cover classes during teacher absences. Role Responsibilities: Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities under teacher guidance. Work with individuals or groups of pupils to reinforce understanding. Support behaviour management and create a positive classroom environment. Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and outcomes. Cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning. Candidate Requirements: Hold HLTA status or a relevant Level 4 qualification is desirable. Experience working in a UK primary or secondary school. A proactive and flexible attitude to supporting different learners. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
