About The Role

Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? Draken Europe is seeking a Mission Systems Maintenance Specialist to support our cutting-edge Electronic Warfare and Target Towing systems. These systems play a vital role in delivering Operational Readiness Training to defence customers worldwide.

As part of our elite Mission Systems team, you’ll ensure the safe, compliant, and effective maintenance of mission-critical equipment—both at our UK base and on global deployments.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mission systems equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic warfare systems to component level.
  • Prepare aircraft and underwing stores for operational use.
  • Support global operations, including preparing spares and deploying on detachments.
  • Ensure all work meets Pt.145 regulatory and company safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and digital records of maintenance activities.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent training.
  • Experience in electronic warfare, radar, or avionics maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on experience with RF/microwave test equipment.
  • Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small, agile team.
  • IT literacy (MS Office Suite desirable).
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
