Trainee Lettings Negotiator Bristol Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm. Salary: £20,800 (18-20-year-olds) £25,400 (age 21+) plus commission – OTE £22,000 – £26,500 per annum. Holidays: 22 days per annum + bank holidays I am currently looking to recruit a Trainee Lettings Negotiator. This position involves working across both lettings and an element of sales. The role is dynamic and requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to facilitate property lettings and sales. Main Duties Register landlords and tenants, matching them with available properties that suit their needs. Maintain thorough documentation of all applicants, including their requirements, actions taken, and any relevant details. Schedule and manage property valuations for both lettings and sales. Conduct accompanied property viewings with tenants and prospective purchasers for both lettings and sales. Negotiate lettings, acting as the intermediary between landlords and tenants to ensure smooth transactions. Collaborate closely with other negotiators, sharing information to secure new business and close deals effectively. Work in partnership with the property management team to pass on any concerns or issues raised by tenants or landlords. Keep a close watch on the local property market, identifying shifts and opportunities for business growth. Be an active member of an enthusiastic, driven team, working collaboratively to meet company goals. Skills & Qualities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent negotiation abilities. Ability to maintain and manage detailed records. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. In-depth knowledge of the local property market. Professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. This role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to be part of a growing team, where every day brings new challenges and chances to develop within the real estate industry The Ideal Candidate: Ideally you will have a clear passion for property and preferably a good knowledge of the local area. You must have: Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. A keen eye for detail. Confident and able to work alone, as well as be part of a team. Able to work to targets. A willingness to go the extra mile. A full / clean UK driving license. Willing to use own car and pool car also available on site. Student swap over – No holiday between middle of June – middle of July, over this period there will be 2 weekends of working over the exciting student swap over period – this will be paid on an overtime basis. In return we offer an attractive remuneration package, full training is provided.
