Project Accountant – Portsmouth
Reports to: CFO
A dynamic, globally recognised brand has engaged Venture Recruitment Partners exclusively to recruit a Project Accountant, ahead of a 3-year period of growth and positive change. The successful applicant will join a high calibre team who are at the cutting edge of their field.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of a circa GBP30m annual budget for the programme.
- Working with the budget holders in the team to ensure that they own their numbers and stick to their budget.
- Consolidating financial forecasts and working with the budget heads to manage these forecasts.
- Ensure tight cost control and sign off in line with approval matrices.
- Play a lead role in the implementation of new systems across the business and finance function, ensuring robust API s between them.
- Develop efficient ways of reporting, managing and forecasting costs with the budget owners.
About you:
- Full / part qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA is desirable but not essential.
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills essential, with basic programming and API skills desirable.
- Career dedicated and highly driven in person.
