Location: Bristol - BS4 Easily accessible by public transport, short walk from Temple Meads train station

Salary: £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience

Contract: Long Term, 5 days a week (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

As a School Mental Health Assistant at a mainstream school in central Bristol, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

What We’re Looking For as a School Mental Health Assistant:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred. Previous experience with SEN is highly desirable, particularly for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
  • Passion for Mental Health: A strong interest in mental health, particularly in relation to SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
  • Understanding of SEN: A keen interest or understanding of the diverse learning and behavioural needs within an SEN setting.
