We have an exciting vacancy for a 12-month fixed-term Band 7 Psychological Therapist within our Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Services. This position is suitable for individuals holding a CBT diploma or Master\’s qualification and accredited with BABCP.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our growing perinatal service. While experience working with clients with severe and enduring mental health difficulties is preferred, training will be provided to develop skills in these areas. The post involves working within multi-professional teams supporting the transformation of our Community Services as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.

Applicants interested in building upon their clinical skills within the perinatal period are encouraged to apply. The role offers excellent opportunities to gain experience in complex case assessment, formulation, and evidence-based psychological interventions, both individual and group-based.

Candidates should have experience working with service users with complex mental health and behavioral needs. Experience working with service users during the perinatal period is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.
