- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver IIoT opportunities in pipeline and recycling centre upgrades
- Create technical specifications and design documentation for IIoT implementations
- Evaluate and recommend IIoT devices, sensors, and communication protocols
- Develop strategies for data collection, processing, and analytics to support predictive maintenance and decision-making
- Ensure IIoT solutions support climate resilience and ecological sustainability
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure deployments
- Lead proof-of-concept and pilot projects for new IIoT technologies
- Stay current with IIoT trends and assess their relevance to the water sector
- Mentor team members and share best practices in IIoT design and deployment
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration into the OT framework
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.
Your skills and experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master\’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in IT/OT systems, with 5+ years focused on IIoT architecture and implementation
- Strong knowledge of IIoT technologies, protocols (e.g., MQTT, LoRaWAN), and edge computing
- Experience with cloud platforms and services for IIoT data management
- Familiarity with OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, industrial networks)
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architectures
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning in IIoT contexts
- Knowledge of security standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82)
- Relevant certifications in IIoT, cloud, or industrial networking are a bonus
