Our Yorkshire-based pharmaceutical client develops and manufactures a range of products. They are actively looking for a Senior Analytical Development Chemist. This is a busy role where the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating analytical methods.
Responsibilities
- Developing novel methods using analytical techniques including HPLC.
- Developing appropriate stability tests for regulatory purposes using HPLC and other instrumentation.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation.
- Validating a range of analytical methods and reports.
- Ensuring all activities are performed to quality and H&S standards, including GMP.
- Advising other Analytical Chemists and supporting the transfer of robust analytical methods.
Applicants should have a BSc / MSc in Chemistry (or related subject) along with relevant experience in an analytical R&D environment.
This is a permanent position offering an attractive salary (depending on skills and abilities).
