As part of the People Shared Services team, TA Operations team creates a seamless and welcoming Roku experience from the very first candidate touchpoint through a new hireβs journey. The team delivers on systems, project management, and services in Talent Coordination, Onboarding, Talent Attraction, and Talent Acquisition processes.
About the role
Roku is looking for a Manager, Candidate Experience to join our TA Operations team. This role will lead and manage a strong operations team by assessing workload capacity, identifying process improvements, and coaching our TA Ops Coordinators. The Manager, Candidate Experience leads the day-to-day operations of a team that is on the front lines of developing and delivering an excellent candidate and hiring team experience.
This role will provide day to day operational guidance and hands on support to scale a candidate experience globally, while also proficient in addressing local requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to demonstrate reliable and fast problem-solving skills. They bring forward expertise & solutions to partners across People Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Legal, People Business Partners and other internal stakeholders. They can balance competing priorities to create a Roku candidate experience while increasing operational productivity.
What you will be doing
- Directly manage the TA Ops Coordinators, ensuring that all logistics relative to scheduling, offer letters, background checks, candidate and hiring team communications, and any other pre-employment procedures is performed professionally, accurately, and efficiently.
- Provide back-up coverage as needed and conduct high-touch operations for certain requests within the interview, offer, and pre-employment experience.
- Perform regularly scheduled process and system audits to ensure consistency and accuracy, remove day-to-day blockers, assess performance, and coach individuals.
- Build a high functioning, cohesive team by bridging our dynamic team located in the US, UK, and India with regular team syncs, 1:1s, hiring and training new team members.
- Own TA Ops Coordination metrics to establish a balanced workload, evaluate candidate experience survey data, and work with TA Managers to streamline and address data and process gaps.
- Identify, report, and research operational requirements, and improvements to the Talent Operations Program team to develop new and compliant processes that can globally scale.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Workplace Experience to create a consistent and high quality remote and onsite candidate experience through the effective use of systems and process re-design
We\’re excited if you have
- 5+ years of professional experience, comprised of 3+ years of recruiting or recruiting coordination, 2+ years of experience with a proven track record in managing performance and scaling recruiting coordination teams to support hyper-growth
- Passion for improving recruiting operational excellence by staying on top of current trends with a consistent track record for identifying and launching process improvements
- Strong proficiency in ATS and Onboarding platforms. Greenhouse and/or Workday preferred.
- Adept at the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to perform vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, preferred.
- A keen eye for details and ability to create and maintain processes, and audit data.
- Excellent time and task management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of projects and driving results with a strong sense of efficiency, accuracy, follow-through, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization
