Description
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Group Supply Chain Director and the Group Supply Chain Portfolio Manager to deliver the Mid Term Plan of projects.
- Manage the MTP to ensure that all projects are correctly scheduled and that dependent projects are linked.
- Maintain a high-level view of the medium-term objectives and project priorities.
- Understand potential synergies between the Supply Chain MTPs
- Work with teams outside of Supply Chain to understand their project priorities and align with those of Supply Chain.
- Work with the Global Service Parts Program Director to understand the objectives and priorities of that plan and adopt a collaborative approach to support the delivery of those priorities.
- Represent projects on the Supply Chain Planning Council and act as the interface between the council and the Supply Chain Project Steerco.
- Represent projects on the bi-weekly Supply Chain Issues and Opportunities forum.
- Manage projects or programs of projects which have been approved from the Mid Term Plan.
- Developing concrete, detailed plans for projects, including the schedule, the budget and outlining the duties of team members.
- Identifying project goals, milestones and setting a timeline for each project.
- Collaborate closely with various cross functional teams and facilitating project meetings to develop and execute project plans to deliver the scope as set by the project sponsor.
- Appraise candidate projects from the Mid Term Plan and present to the Supply Chain Steering Committee to review and approve.
- Closely monitor each project to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay within budget, and develop according to plan.
- Develop remedial plans to correct projects which are behind schedule, over budget or exceeding the project scope.
- Update the project sponsor and key stakeholders on the progress of projects and escalate key issues requiring their input when required.
- Providing monthly updates on project progress to the Steering Group.
- Once a project is complete, ensure all project results are gathered, lessons learned documented, and the project is formally closed down.
- Lead and present annual reviews of completed projects to ensure that all identified benefits claimed at the project appraisal stage are attained and that any shortcomings have a plan to rectify.
- Ownership of the Supply Chain Projects Smartsheet application.
- Work with Smartsheet to develop the functionality of our solution.
- Champion the use of Smartsheet for other uses within Supply Chain.

- Previous Supply Chain experience:
- Understanding of project management methodology.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project.
- Available for global business travel when required.
- Worked within multicultural / cross continent team environment
- Previous experience working with Smartsheet. (Training can be given if needed).
- Focused approach to delivering results on time and in full.
- Worked within a global Supply Chain Function.
- Understanding of how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems work.
- Working knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards, Demantra and Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
- Project Management Professional Certification
