The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a landmark project, working on complex road realignments, bridgeworks, and other associated structures. You\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of critical sections of the HS2 line.

What you\’ll do:

Setting Out: Accurately set out works in accordance with design drawings and specifications for both road and structural elements.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets the highest standards and project specifications.
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the site team, resolving any engineering issues that arise.
Health & Safety: Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all site activities are carried out safely and in line with regulations.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Engineer, Project Manager, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.What we\’re looking for:

A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large scale infrastructure projects, with a significant focus on roadworks and structures.
Demonstrable experience working on or similar major rail/highway projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency in setting out techniques and equipment
Strong understanding of construction processes, specifications, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A valid CSCS card.
