Expleo are recruiting a Technical Author for Body and Equipment Mounting Manuals on behalf of our Essex based Automotive client. In this contract position, youll play a vital role in using a documented authoring method to update or create new technical content in Adobe In-Design.Key Responsibilities:Utilise 3D CAD data from TeamCentre or VisMockup to generate layered images using Adobe Photoshop.Import visual and content assets into Adobe InDesign to compile draft manuals for initial review.Use the draft manual to consolidate input from Subject Matter Experts and agree the content for publication. Revise the Adobe InDesign files within the appropriate sections of the Base Engine Maintenance Manual.Prepare documentation with consideration for translation into seven European languages, maintaining a clear, customer-focused tone throughout.Adhere to the BEMM loading and capacity chart to coordinate updates efficiently and support the Senior Engineer in maintaining documentation integrity.Skills Required:Must be familiar with Class Styles, Anchoring & Hyperlinks, Tables and Image flattening.Expert in Adobe In-Design.
