To help us on our journey, we’re looking for a Brand and Communications Lead to join our small but mighty team, where you’ll be responsible for strategies that enhance Blue Light Card\\\\\\\’s visibility, reputation, and engagement in the Australian market If you’re driven, innovative, and excited to work for a company that truly makes an impact, we’d love to hear from you! What you’ll do Shape and execute a bold, creative brand strategy that’s tailored to the Australian market, driving innovative ways to connect with our members and tell our story Oversee the creation and roll out of brand materials, ensuring everything we do is consistent across all touchpoints Keep a pulse on brand performance – analysing what’s working, what’s not, and making smart adjustments to keep us ahead Manage all internal and external communications, from PR and community management to social media and supporting with email campaigns Craft compelling narrative and high-quality content that speaks to our members and partners Help to build the Blue Light community in Australia, acting as a brand ambassador in all public engagements and partnerships Collaborate with teams across the business, to design and launch promotional campaigns that strengthen relationships with existing retail partners, and unlock new collaboration opportunities What you’ll bring A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field Proven experience in a brand or communications role within an early stage start-up Expertise in PR, social media, and both digital and traditional media channels, with excellent knowledge of the Australian media landscape, and experience managing PR agencies A strategic yet creative mindset – seeing the big picture but not missing the details that make our brand shine Great interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and effectively managing and motivating team members Strong project management skills and adaptability – comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of a high-growth start-up, and able to balance different priorities Proficiency using analytics tools to measure and report on campaign effectiveness Experience in community-led or membership-based organisations would be a bonus Our culture At Blue Light Card, our members are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s our incredible team that make it all possible.
