This role could be a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking for a new career path and/or move into Lean construction.

The role will involve:

  1. In line with the deployment programme, supporting projects in the adoption of the minimum standard of CP, initially by facilitating collaborative planning sessions after which you will hand this over to the project team. You will build a good relationship with the project team to encourage engagement and adoption.
  2. Carrying out CP maturity assessments on projects.
  3. Providing ongoing support to projects where CP is deployed, either remotely or in-person.
  4. Reporting on progress of deployment and capturing the benefits achieved.
  5. Working with the broader Lean team to resolve challenges in deployment and continually improve the process.

This role will involve travel to projects in different parts of the country.

Profile:

You have experience in delivering your own projects or packages of work and are willing to work with the wider Lean deployment team to share this experience. In addition, the following is essential:

  1. Excellent people and communication skills.
  2. Good understanding of the full lifecycle of a construction project and of contract types.
  3. Open-minded and willing to learn.
  4. Good skills in Excel and other MS Office products.

Previous experience in Lean or CP would be beneficial but is not essential as you will be working with Lean experts who can provide you with the required training and coaching.
