THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will oversee a varied caseload of criminal and prosecution matters, balancing court advocacy with advisory work on complex and sensitive issues for a wide range of clients. After completing initial training, you can expect to spend the majority of your working week in court, prosecuting a broad array of offences and using your skills to achieve effective outcomes. The rest of your time will focus on case preparation.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers that currently hold a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, that have resided in the UK for at least five years. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to make sound, well-reasoned decisions. While experience in contentious law is beneficial, this role is open to candidates from all legal disciplines who are motivated to learn and retrain.
THE FIRM:
You will receive comprehensive induction training, mentoring, and on-the-job support to facilitate a smooth transition into your new role in prosecutions. Additionally, the position offers a competitive benefits package and the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week.
