(Hybrid – 3 Days per week in our Staines office)

As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with our extended HR team and business leaders to refine, lead, and deliver our team and talent strategy. Daily, you will use your leadership and HR expertise to introduce and drive HR programs, practices, and policies aligned with ADP\’s culture that drive key business results. WHAT YOU\’LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Partner with UK business leaders and managers to build their people capability, plan and manage talent, and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for UK employees.
  • Organize office events (team building, lunch and learns, holidays).
  • Manage building maintenance processes and relationships with vendors (office repairs, rebuilds, improvements).
  • Inform North America HR team on UK regional updates, law/policy changes, employment law, and relevant employee compliance updates/concerns.
  • Partner with finance on behalf of UK employees (promotions, merit/bonus, manager changes, title changes, etc.)
  • Advocate for UK employees, keeping the region current with company communications and support. Provide suggestions to leadership on engagement strategies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance. Partner with legal as needed.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Analyze salary market data and trends to assist with career pathing and retention.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, career development, counseling, disciplinary actions).
  • Ensure compliance (including GDPR).
  • Support special projects as assigned by HR leadership.
  • Implement HR solutions and processes.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching.
  • Develop and manage succession plans.
  • Create and analyze employee satisfaction surveys and exit interviews; recommend improvements.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate HR data in the system, including contractor entries for UK.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Human Resources Senior Generalist, Business Partner, or similar, preferably in a tech company.
  • Experience managing an HRIS system.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and ethical individual with professional integrity.
  • Strategic thinker with technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and operational focus.
  • Well-organized and self-directed, capable of high-level planning and hands-on tasks.
  • Excellent communicator and team builder, able to relate across all levels.
  • Experience in training, coaching, conflict resolution, and managing HR functions including payroll, benefits, employee relations, staffing, and legal compliance.
