A leading entertainment company based in Central London is seeking to hire an AAT-qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with one day per week working from home. Reporting to the Management Accountant and working in a dynamic finance team, the Assistant Management Accountant will:
Duties for the Assistant Management Accountant:
- Play a vital role in preparing monthly management accounts
- Supporting external reporting
- Reconcile the employee expenses ledger
- Prepare month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, stock, cost, and revenue uploads
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and billings queries
Requirements of the Assistant Management Accountant role:
- Experience as a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant, preferably in the creative/media sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Sumifs)
- Strong knowledge of trial balances, bookkeeping, and profit & loss accounts
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
- Motivated team player with the ability to work independently
- AAT qualification or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
