Job Description

This role is based 5 days a week at our Shirebrook HQ

As a Demand Planner Manager at Frasers Group you will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of beauty products across all stores, ensuring effective forecasting, inventory management, pricing strategies, and product enrichment. This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing brand presence, improving operational efficiency, and meeting customer needs through seamless stock management and strategic planning.

  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts at Brand/Store level to optimise sales performance
  • Manage top-level forecasting and stock position to align with business objectives and market trends
  • Oversee and manage the reviewing of product budgeting & seasonality
  • Line management of Commercial Managers, leading by example and being a trusted mentor
  • Effective management of discontinued lines to minimise wastage and maximise profitability
  • Challenge current processes for stock replenishment, working collaboratively with the Commercial analytics function
  • Execute mark-offs for discontinued or excess stock, maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate stock pushes for key events and promotional periods, ensuring product availability
  • Process brand and store-level stock requests to support operational and customer requirements
  • Oversee order book activity, ensuring timely and accurate processing to meet supply chain efficiency
  • Set and evaluate pricing strategies that align with market positioning and customer expectations with regular analysis to provide suggestions
  • Ensure product data accuracy and enrichment across all platforms

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in demand planning, ideally within the beauty or retail industry
  • Must have experience managing a team of 2+ reports
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Excel and other tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with a variety of different stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to managing stock, pricing, and product-related challenges
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and evolving market trends
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving both short-term and long-term commercial success
