Job Overview
Healthcare professionals are needed to provide medical services to support the Medical Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other DoD agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.
Qualifications
- Degree: Diploma.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited high school; acceptability granted by the United States Air Force.
- Experience and Language Requirements: The HCW shall read, understand, speak, and write both German and English. Depending on the assignment, knowledge of Dutch may also be required. Demonstrations of language proficiency may be requested by the contracting officer.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a translator between German, Dutch, and American healthcare providers and beneficiaries, ensuring effective communication in formal and informal settings.
- Understand medical vocabulary relevant to the role.
- Provide patient liaison services at various locations within the local commuting area.
DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status
This position is eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
