Overview:
Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring CT Techs for a PRN/Flexi position with rotating shifts in Norfolk, Virginia.
Open to new grads who wish to be trained in different modalities.
Responsibilities include performing CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision, providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing documentation, maintaining equipment, and managing supplies.
Requires ARRT or CNMT certification, with advanced CT registry to be obtained within two years of hire. Staff within Sentara CarePlex must obtain CT registry by 11/1/2016.
Education:
- ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate
Certification/Licensure:
- ARRT required or CNMT obtained within 2 years
Experience:
No experience in CT required; new grads welcome.
