Sentara Leigh is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician for the Cardiovascular Interventional Center
Full Time Day Shift, with some call.
If you have experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and/or interventional radiology procedures – this position is for you!
Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and /or interventional procedures; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
Must have successfully completed a Radiologic Technology Program; must be ARRT or RCIS registered and have BLS certification.
One year experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and/or interventional procedures required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.
