The Team
This role sits within the Insight team, a growing group of 11 researchers (soon to be 13), led by a seasoned leadership team with deep sector knowledge. The team specialises in mixed methods research, with most projects focused on pharmaceutical and healthcare brands. They work collaboratively with a central data science team and across multiple in-house practices.
The Role
As Research Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role running end-to-end research projects from brief through to delivery. You’ll be client-facing from day one, managing both quant and qual research while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and data scientists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing research projects across healthcare/pharma clients from proposal to delivery
- Leading client relationships and presenting insights in a clear, compelling way
- Designing and managing mixed methods studies – with flexibility to lean toward your strength
- Supporting pitch development and contributing to new business where relevant
- Working with advanced analytics and data science partners to enhance research outcomes
- Providing strategic recommendations that help shape policy, brand, and positioning
Your Background
- 3–5 years of experience in market research, ideally with a strong focus on healthcare or pharma
- Comfortable with both quant and qual methodologies (can lean toward one)
- Knowledge of data science and advanced analytics (e.g., segmentations, regressions, key driver analysis)
- Excellent communication skills and confident presenting to clients
- Pitching or proposal-writing experience is a plus
