The Role
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Leeds. We are well known locally for working on projects like: Aire Park and the Tetley Brewery redevelopment, the Wellington Place masterplan, Leeds Urban Village, as well as many other high‑profile developments where you can walk to the site from the office. We are also proud to work for a number of local healthcare trusts including the new hospital programme at Airedale General Hospital. Our work in the education sector is across the north and allows many of our team members their first opportunity to lead the civil engineering design for a project.
You will fit into a mixed civils team of engineers and technicians with a range of experience so that you can build your technical and project management skills. You will support and mentor apprentices and graduates in their next step as you will be supported for yours.
The Right Fit
- Concept and detailed design for sustainable drainage systems.
- Good working knowledge of civil3d for drainage networks.
- Comfortable liaising with authorities and design teams.
It would be advantageous to have:
- Experience of flood risk assessments.
- Coordination within multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Bulk earthworks experience.
- Experience of highways design.
You will be actively working under a recognised professional Institution training pathway (ICE or CIWEM) which will be supported at a local level and through The Curtins Academy.
