Head of Practice – Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Consultancy at Eden Smith Group

Database Administrator (SQL Focussed) – 18 month FTC

Salary up to £50,000 per annum, plus generous benefits package

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known organisation in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining the organisation\’s data environments with SQL server or Azure Data services.
  • Managing the security and maintenance of the data systems.
  • Delivering projects both within IT and as part of the company\’s wider transformation functions.

Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience in working as a DBA and Data Developer within the MS Stack.
  • Skills and experience in the following:
  • TSQL.
  • MS stack supportive solutions such as SSIS and SSRS.
  • SPROC and Function development to support the SQL environment.
  • Azure SQL, Azure Analytics, Dataverse or similar solutions, or a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent data analytical skills and the ability to reverse engineer legacy data structures.
  • An ability to quickly build relationships with customers or stakeholders.
