AWTG, the world leader in 5G Private Network and application development, is looking for Technical Bid Writers/Engineers to join its Sales Division. We are looking for goal-oriented and driven Technical Bid Writers/Engineers with relevant experience in technical writing, bid writing, developing sales channels, closing business opportunities, and generating revenues from highly technical solutions. The successful candidate will join the AWTG office in London.
What you will be working on:
This role is technical bid writing in the technology market, through AWTG innovations, platforms, solutions, and services. You will need to have a good understanding of technology and how innovations impact customer requirements. This position is located in London, United Kingdom. You will be responsible for identifying and closing business opportunities within the public and enterprise sectors.
In addition to quickly establishing strong customer relationships and understanding our customer’s businesses, we expect you to build effective relationships internally with engineering, service, marketing, operations, and others so that our customer’s expectations are routinely exceeded.
Where you can make an impact:
- Actively pursue new business opportunities with aggressive prospecting into new business prospects, ensuring sales objectives are being met.
- Accurately forecast pipeline deals through the CRM software, and participate in weekly funnel calls with peers.
- Manage all RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
- Write responses to RFI, RFQ, RFP, and other public/private tenders.
- Collaborate as appropriate with the Ecosystem, Channel, and alliance Partners to expand the reach of our platforms, solutions, and services.
- Utilise consultative, solution-based selling techniques to identify opportunities

- Proven ability to grow, track, and report sales and activities, with forecasting hygiene.
- Proven track record of hitting your annual quota for successive years.
- Proven ability to engage and influence partners at the sales leadership level.
