Or watch the recent keynote of V7 Go’s launch: About the role The Engineering Manager at V7 will be forefront of development in the AI space, steering technical decision making and enabling our highly skilled team. Working closely with our founders, product mangers and other engineering leadership, you will drive exciting Greenfield development of V7’s newest product offerings on our Go team. With a strong bias to action, you will play a key role in growing and mentoring your team, whilst representing an engineering with stakeholders across the business.
What You\’ll Do
- Taking responsibility for high quality and timely delivery of engineering projects.
- Lead a growing team of software engineers, playing a central role in hiring and attracting great engineers.
- You will drive the right processes, meetings and communications needed for team success.
- Use your technical experience and judgment to promote the improvement and operation of systems in your area.
- Mentor your team, creating and assessing development goals and plans.
- Work closely with Product Management, other engineering leaders, and customers on the iterative release of our next-generation goals.
- Actively contribute to optimising our Engineering Culture and Engineering Standards.
Who You Are
- You’ve operated as an Engineering Manager in a high-growth SaaS businesses for at least 4+ years.
- You come from fast-growing engineering organisations that work with a large amount of data or AI products.
- You are comfortable operating with some ambiguity or changing requirements.
- You have a passion for management and bringing the best out of the people around you.
- You have broad technical knowledge, preferably in AI development or large data systems.
- You are looking to join a collaborative and cross-functional team to drive high impact work.
- You are excited to read and review code, understand the product area, and give applicable technical mentorship.
- You have managed a team of at least 4 engineers and are comfortable managing remote team members.
- You have successfully led and delivered on complex projects and are comfortable giving performance reviews and mentoring team members at all levels.
