Comber (BT23) Salary c.£11.50 – £12.50 p/h DOE On behalf of our client a leading local wholesale/distribution business, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative/Merchandiser to join their team. This will be a dual role covering both positions on a weekly basis. Key Duties: Warehouse operative: Pick and Pack products Completing customer orders in a timely manner Manual handling Warehouse organisation Maintain and update systems Provide regular updates on stock levels Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Relevant ad hoc duties as required Merchandiser: Drive a light commercial vehicle to various locations including supermarkets and convenience stores Merchandise and display products Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff Conduct checks reporting and discrepancies Maintain and update systems Provide regular updates on stock levels Maintain a clean and organised vehicle Relevant ad hoc duties as required Eligibility criteria: Previous experience in a similar role desirable Valid clean driving licence for a light commercial vehicle (Essential) Forklift License (Preferred but not essential) Education to include a minimum of 3 GCSE's grade C or above or equivalent Excellent communicator and able to build relationships and rapport Excellent attention to detail Good numeracy aptitude and keen eye for detail Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and workload Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team McKinty Associates Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
