About the Role
Orka Financial is partnering with a successful business in Bracknell to recruit a Financial Controller. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role oversees financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reporting. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with group financial regulations, managing financial reporting, internal controls, and financial audits. The role also involves managing the finance team.
Key Duties
- Managing the finance team to ensure timely and accurate accounting functions, staff development, training, and performance management.
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Managing treasury functions and cash flow.
- Leading the external audit process.
- Developing and maintaining strong internal controls to ensure reporting accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
