Your role
As a Financial Planner, you will provide financial planning advice to UBS Wealth Management UK clients. You will work as a specialist alongside UBS client advisors. A team of Paraplanners and Administrators will help you to efficiently execute the advice and provide excellent client service.
Global Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial services to wealthy private clients around the world. Its clients benefit from the entire spectrum of UBS resources, ranging from investment management to estate planning and corporate finance advice, in addition to specific wealth management products and services.
Responsibilities
understand clients\β long-term financial objectives;
provide holistic financial planning advice to clients;
provide a high level of technical expertise and client service;
ensure all advice complies with regulatory requirements and company policies;
maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, products, and legislation;
build strong relationships with the clients, client advisors and other stakeholders;
attend client meetings alongside the client advisors;
preparation and completion of meeting notes and follow ups.

As a Financial Planner you will form part of the Financial Planning team. You can be based in either our London or Edinburgh offices.

Your expertise
chartered Financial Planner. FCA-authorised and regulated, with a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
a good deal of previous experience as a financial planner for high net worth and ultra high net worth clients with diverse backgrounds and professions
excellent technical knowledge in every area of financial planning
ability to work through complex situations with clients and explain clearly and concisely
very good sales expertise and strong commercial focus
strong risk focus and excellent understanding of the regulatory environment
knowledge of cashflow modelling software would be desirable
