Applications Engineer – CNC Turning (Machine Tools) Location: Coventry (with UK & European travel) Salary: £45–57k + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare A leading CNC machine tool and automation solutions provider is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced Applications Engineer with a strong turning background to support high-end turnkey projects across the UK and Europe. The Role This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where your expertise in CNC turning will take centre stage. You’ll play a key part in delivering complete turnkey solutions—from developing machining strategies and programming to on-site commissioning and training. Key Responsibilities Develop efficient turning strategies and CNC programs (Fanuc / Okuma preferred) Run prove-outs and carry out First Article Inspections Ensure all project requirements and quality benchmarks are met Deliver on-site training to customer operators and programmers Support integration of CAM software and simulation tools Travel across the UK and Europe as needed About You 4+ years’ experience in CNC machine tools or production engineering Strong background in CNC turning – ideally with programming and/or setting experience Skilled in Fanuc and/or Okuma controls Confident communicator who’s self-driven and organised CAM experience a plus, but not essential What’s on Offer Direct inv…
