The Opportunity:

As part of growth plans they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Tax Partner to join their thriving tax team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the growth and development of the firms personal tax offering, managing a portfolio of complex clients and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts, providing proactive and tailored tax advice.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and residency issues.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns and computations.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients on the implications.
  • Contribute to the development of the personal tax team, mentoring and coaching junior staff.
  • Participate in business development activities, building relationships with potential clients and intermediaries.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the firm to provide holistic advice to clients.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the tax department.

About You:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) with significant post-qualification experience in personal tax.
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and providing complex tax advice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong business development skills and a desire to contribute to the growth of the firm.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and commercially aware individual with a client-focused approach.
